10:20 am - Kittens?
I have moved to a small village near Hilversum. Lovely house, with a garden that is thankfully a lot smaller than what I had. The cats were kept inside for two and a half weeks, and when they were released, City immediately went missing for three days, and turned up five minutes after I came home from posting missing-cat flyers everywhere.
And now Clio is in heat. Most of the neighbourhood cats appear to be fully functioning tomcats. Since we'd love for Clio to have kiitens once before she's sterilized, nature is running its course. We witnessed one dramatic pairing right on the terrace in front of the living-room and kitchen when we had visitors, but since then Clio has been more discreet. City, our neutered tomcat, keeps his distance from all that display of feline virility, and also from Clio.

The prospective mother in a seductive pose.

I guess this needs no comment.

City keeps his distance.

Two of Clio's other suitors.

The heat is wearing off, Clio has taken refuge.

Fijne dag! :)

Re: Over je katteverhalen

Dank je voor je aardige woorden!
Inderdaad, de site is 'eenvrouwswerk'. Online sinds 2002, inmiddels behoorlijk omvangrijk. Ook dat vind ik leuk om te doen.
Veel plezier met rondkijken op coquinaria, en alvast smakelijk eten!
